The owner of this 92 model Fatboy has put a lot of work into
bringing out the class this bike had to offer

Stan's idea was for a clean black & bling look

A heavy metallic black base was laid down first

Stan wanted a Wizard theme in just black & white

 & thought Devo's suggestion of adding some lightening sounded ok too

 
 
The wizard on the front guard had to look like a ghost
White transparent pearl was used to give an 'almost there' look
The face was then blended into the background
 
So that all pieces of this bike had a common element
lightening was added flowing in from the curve of the guard
 
 
Stan wanted a mystical castle on the rear guard
so we painted a very stylized idea of a castle
with a stone dragon statue set on a rock in the river
the bright light coming from behind the castle gives a dreamy illusion
The lightening on this piece flows from under the seat
 
 
Stan wanted the wizard on the tank  holding a crystal ball with a skull in it
A staff was added to the wizards other hand to balance the design
 
 
The blue pearl in the lightening was the only deviation from the black & white theme
and Stan tells us that it makes the whole thing work
 
 
It is the nature of pearls to work best in different light levels so this job turned out as usual
'much better in real life than in the pictures'
 
The owner got the last word when he said
It looks just the way I imagined in my head...
you don't get better than that!
