This bike is a
rolling fantasy. |
The Harry Potter
movie inspired Warrior was a blank canvas when it arrived to us, brand new
and oh so shiny. |
It's owner is
one of those great clients that just says... 'Do what ya recon, I trust
you' |
Maybe that was his first mistake (grin) |
'They call me
Hagrid' he said with a chuckle |
So an idea was
born to incorporate the owners face into the image of the movie character on
the tank of the Warrior |
The background
didn't need a thing done to it, so we just took off the shine and set to
work on the art. |
Every part of
this bike hosts images from the movies, from the white eagle on the front
guard to a snitch on the side covers, each piece has been lovingly
rendered... it didn't hurt that I was a big fan of the books too

With a heap of
gold pearl in the artwork, out in the sun the whole bike just shines |
An idea to paint
a sky and clouds on the tank allowed the faces of both of the owners parents
to be included in a very subtle way. |
The brooms were
a nice touch on the sides of the tank to bring the concept of this bike
flying to mind |
To top it off
(pardon the pun) we painted a helmet with another of the movie characters to
go with the whole bike. |
Since these
pictures were taken the Harry Potter bike has had a bit more done to it.
Unfortunately a tree decided to add some of it's own touches to the the
overall look of this Warrior. And so a new tank, side cover and fix up on
the front guard were required. The new work looks great, and will be added
to this page as soon as we can get to it. |
