This project was typical of what we get to do... A fully custom concept brought to life!
The owner of this bike 'Bear' wanted a realistic tiger skin airbrushed over every inch of his metalwear
The kicker was that he wanted it Green!
The project started as they all do, with extensive conversation between Devo and the owner of this bike
Bear wanted the tiger skin to go from very dark to almost white, like a real big cat does
So we laid down a base of silver pearl and then worked some dark wash from the top down on each piece
Up close and personal with a very fine touch, individual hairs of black and white pearl where worked over the entire surface of this job
It can be difficult keeping the overall project in mind when you are working so close to separate sections
Finally a coat of green candy was laid down, again from the top to almost nothing at the bottom of each piece
I think the flow of the skin came out fairly concise... and the customer loved it!
