1988 Heritage Softail painted black with purple sem pearl over
For those who know their dragons, these are Norse Dragons (common name Ice Dragon)

The purple you see
 in the dragons wings is
 an optical illusion.
 
Painted in pearl white with a hint of green, it's only the semi transparent
 wings lightening the background colour that makes them look purple.

     

Both the tank strip and the air filter were painted in a scale pattern
 you can only see in direct sunlight.
The beauty of pearls is the effect that light has on them.
The front guard shows the top of the dragons head with smoke and natural flames.
A closer view of the guard shows that the image fades away as the guard curves
The rear guard has the
dragons tail coming from under the seat
and wrapping around the tail light.
 
The heart of the dragon is the motor itself with the head and upper wings appearing
from the smokey clouds of the V twin.

I fully rebuilt the motor ( well, the blokes at the shop did, I just paid for it and left with a big grin)

 

Only 25,000 since rebuild... got all the paperwork for you to see.
   
It's got... a mild cam, hi-comp pistons, kick-arse valves, flowed the head, 16" chubby bars,
 airbrushed dragons, 6 gallon tanks, a neat set of 50 calibre Santee pipes (brand new),
tyres are great, saddlebags, short screen... all the nice stuff.
 
I don't think I'm being greedy at $17,500 ono  so tell me what you think.
